Mike Price is 36 years old and has finally succumbed to the golfing bug. This blog hopes to show how anyone can take up golf and enjoy the benefits it will bring to your life. He will be helped by his father Mike Price who has been playing for over 35 years. His aim was not to embarrass himself when he played his first round of golf. Mike has now played his first game of golf and has a new goal of improving his putting and getting below 90 on the score card.

This weekend I managed to get out for a long walk, but sadly no golf. I was taking part in the Scouts Moonlight. A long walk with scouts from one place to another but with out the fun of whacking balls at flags.
I am hoping that the courses will be dry soon as I am aching to get back at it.

Thanks Steve. Whats it like playing over in New Zealand? Do you have to play at certain times of the day?
I am hoping to get over to Spain to play this year and have been told to play early or late but not around midday.
Not played Arrowe Park but I may in the future. What handicap are you?
Any tips for playing in hot weather?

I am 50 first played when I was 16 my dad has played for 30 years at Prenton Golf Club I didnt and couldnt afford to play there. I now live in Motueka New Zealand and really enjoyed my second game. The course is a little different to Arrowe Park but the golf balls still go off in the wrong direction
