About...

Mike Price

Mike Price is 36 years old and has finally succumbed to the golfing bug. This blog hopes to show how anyone can take up golf and enjoy the benefits it will bring to your life. He will be helped by his father Mike Price who has been playing for over 35 years. His aim was not to embarrass himself when he played his first round of golf. Mike has now played his first game of golf and has a new goal of improving his putting and getting below 90 on the score card.

PGA Tips and Hints week 1

Posted by Mike Price on March 6, 2008 5:00 PM |

This weeks tip is about pre-shot routine. My own pre-shot routine is rubbish but hopefully following the PGA hints it will improve.

Here I am in my garden getting ready to take a shot. This is before I am trying out this weeks tip.

This is how NOT to do it.

After laughing at me now watch how that should have happened, I am a bit rusty so please be kind in any comments. This is better or is it??

What do you think?? Quite a bit of room for improvement and I will try and bring you a new video next week of the next tip which is.

How have you got on? Let me know.

cheers

Mike

You must have a good sense of humour to have put the first video on. However, you look like you are standing to far away from the ball on the second one. Try to spread your legs to the same width as your shoulders and grip the shaft hard. Try not to turn with the swing, it will happen naturally.

Great tip and hope the next one is useful too.

Cheers
